Very cool. Here is Ohio we have a very large Asian community. These are nice I will pass the link on to our group. What type of Equipment were you using for the shots ( I like the telephotos).

You got some nice shots with very good color. I've taken thousands of Dragon Boat race shots here in the Portland, OR area and really enjoy catching the effort these people put into it. Last year I got a 18 or so series shot of one Dragon Boat crew racing back to the Portland Waterfront Park area that we almost swamped. I was in the chase and timing boat taking pictures as we went past them and the driver forgot how close he was to the boat and gunned it to catch up with the first boat before they finished. The wake from the boat went over the sides and probably came within inches of swamping it before he realized what he had done and throttled back. I was falling backwards into a seat shooting with my 1DMKII and got all but a couple of the shots in focus. I turned it into a animation for the Dragon crew to look at later. After they got their boat under control they waved us on... but it's funny, they weren't waving with all their fingers. LOL!

Great job.

you've got lots of nice, crisp photos in there. I think this one has to be my favorite:

the look on her face, the texture in her hair, the placement of her fingers and the inclusion of the instrument - there's a lot to like about that picture. it's very serene, and i can almost hear the sound of the strings being plucked.

Here are a few of the many shots I've taken of the Rose Festival Dragon Boat Races in Portland:
