Southern Gentleman posted in that thread that WPL3 is starting soon and that he would send us the rules and when WPL3 will be starting up.

Just wanted to post here too and let you know we are looking forward to joining the league with you all soon.

I'm looking forward to the competition. All you guys who asked about space in "Team Trigger Happy" and are on the waiting list should order a 30D and contact these guys.

Is it just me or is this really tough competition? Hopefull we'll be better than average when it's for real.

I'll try harder, I promise.

I didn't mean to imply anyone wasn't trying. It's just tough competition, that's all.

I was joking. BTW - Congrats on your Leading Lines ribbon! I had a run of three 6+ scores in a row. Now I'll have three <6 score in a row. I'm getting killed on Purple, hoping to break 5. I thought I had a strong entry. I thought my leading lines was pretty strong too. Maybe the team can give me some constructive feed back.

Getting a 5.6 or so on Abstract Macro, doing better than I thought it would.

With my Abstract Macro I'll have two 6+ in a row. I have nothing else submitted at this point, not even the free study. I need more time!!

I still need to get into the team member's portfolios and leave comments.

I have an entry in the Free Study. I'll probably get slammed for hte subject matter, but I think it is a strong image. I'm done trying to shoot for the voters, I'm entering what I think is good work. One of these days the voters will agree.

Are we officially in then? I know there's a thread but I haven't kept up.

Hi team Trigger Happy. I have all your information on the WPL3 Site but I need the captain to goto the signup page and pick your teams slot number so I can post your team.

Sign-up

Congratulations and good luck in the WPL3

I've just seen our draw.

Week 1: Femme Fatale
Week 2: DOF Llamas
Week 3: Team 5D
Week 4: Nikon D
Week 5: Untouchables

Untouchables are in the playoffs in WPL2.

Based on my scores in Free Study (5.6) and Unrelatedness (5.1) I'm not feeling good now (panic! panic!)

Don't feel so bad - I'm less than 5.2 in the free study. I do better with an actual assignment....

I don't really feel so bad. I have fun taking the shots so I figure thats what matters the most.

Congrats on your yellow gif by the way.

Free Study 13
5.47

Purple
4.90 (We need to talk about this one tomorrow!)

Unrelatedness
5.43

I think I'm actually getting less in tune with DPC over time.

I did have nice 6+ run before these.

I have an entry in Beer that I like. I guess that means it'll be a 3.

I've got something I really like in High Contrast. Either 5.2 or 6.3 is my prediction.

Did we ever decide on a final logo?

This was the last one I posted

No. I think we all kind ran out of steam on the logo. I say lets go with...

...rather than try another round of democratic logo selecting.

PS: I feel much better when I see other photogs have unspectacular scores in a challenge. Those "show you score" threads usually attract only the "I'm at 6.2 it's so disappointing" comments which really dont help when I'd be thrilled to get a 6.2 :)

I'm not sure but to quote SouthernGentleman: "There will be few weeks brake between seasons. But not long"

I'm guessing this means early/mid November sometime.

I embedded the jpg in my signature, but it's a bit too big. I know a thumbnail is smaller but I'd rather just use the image. Should we resize or just use the thumbnail?

Either way is fine by me. Want me to resize it?

I'd prefer a resize, but either is fine. For some reason a link bothers me - don't ask me why!

Thanks Alex.
