Hi guys

I know lots of you are using Simpleviwer to show your images as am I. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to add a text link at the bottom (or top) of each image or on the image itself. Is it even possible?

if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Thx!

did you follow these instuctions ?

14: Can I add HTML formatting to my captions?

Yes. Caption text can include a limited set of HTML formatting, including hyperlinks, line breaks, font tags, bold, underline and italics. You must wrap HTML formatted text inside a CDATA tag as below:

Big times text
bold textlink text

New line of text]]>

Ya I saw that but... where do I put this CDATA code? In which file?

i tried simepleviewer - and thought it was pretty good for awhile. i installed the admin package from //www.redsplash.de/projects/simplevieweradmin
and that lets you add captions through a web interface. as well as upload multiple files at once, create and delete galleries, configure some of the formatting, and other stuff. i also used IFRAMES to section off the page so i could l oad html into part of the pages outside of simpleviewer.

though after a little while i got tired of the laggy load time of simpleviewer. i recently installed gallery2 and i think this will work much nicer than simpleviewer.
