For various reasons I ended up taking my new camera into work where I was part of a team pulling together a client presentation. As luck would have it, there was a need for head and shoulder shots of the team so I volunteered my services. Anyhow, got all of the snaps (although the person taking mine didn't think about the background :-)
and thought nothing of it.
About 9 PM we finish for the night and head off to the hotel for dinner. The guys asked me to show them the new camera in the bar so I happily obliged. Now I am the first to admit I am not a photographic genius by any means but I could do no wrong with the camera at all. Took low light shots that everyone loved, got all them taking shots and really enjoying the experience and even had a comment from someone on a nearby table that they thought it both brave and generous for a pro to let amateurs use their expensive camera!
It was one of those moments where you feel that you *might* just be doing something right :-) |
