If I have a layer in Photoshop Elements 4 that I want to use in other PSD projects. What's the best way (if any) of doing so?
The layer is a text layer of watermark text. I would like to place that layer on multiple photos. I don't mind doing each photo individually--if fact I'd rather do that. I just don't want to perform each step necessary in creating the layer from scratch in every PSD.
Does that make sense?

Drag and drop it from the layers palette into the new image.

Thanks everyone. I'll try the drag-n-drop method.
About "actions". I haven't used them in PSE. I hear that they are there, but have never found them (although I haven't looked *that* hard)

With actions you can set up a batch process to do something to a number of images. |

Does PSE4 have Smart Objects?
I have no experience with them, but from what I've read they were designed to save an opject (tree, figure, watermark, etc) to a seperate file and make it reusable in other files as a self-defining entity.
Seems to fit the need perfectly -- if my understanding is correct.
