With the help and inspiration of Marbo, I have finally been able to come up with some decent IR photos. I thought I would share them with whoever would like to see them. Here they are:

As usual, all comments/critiques are appreciated, and I will return the favor.

not bad for a first run at it... i liked these two best, though i think i'd like to see the temple before you mixed the channels...

a few of the others seem a little overexposed in the brighter spots... you really have to be careful when shooting scenes with a lot of shade in IR because there's little to no ambient IR light in shadows to pick up...

the other thing i would suggest, especially for the third and fourth image, is let us see more sky... the framing is a little too tight around your subject, so you lose some of the dramatic effect of IR...

keep at it, though... good work...

kudzu, magen, thanks for the replies. I will work on adding the temple without the blue/red swap when I get home tonight. I'll add it here when I get it uploaded.

Your doing great Scott :)
I like these

Like Kudzu says some are a bit overexposed but that`s something you will get alot with ir.
I still think your white balance needs tweeking a bit.
When it`s set right you should get colours something like this straight out the camera.
