| In addition to text, I was wondering if logos such as city crests, coat of arms, national park logos, etc. could be incorporated into your postcard? You often see these things on postcards and may (or may not) help to ballance out you design. I mean if, you are going to make a postcard you may as well make it as authentic looking as you can; otherwise it's a landscape with text laid on top. I realize there is a copyright issue here too; the onus would have to be on the photographer to secure the nescessary permission to reproduce logos. |

Who says it has to be a land-scape? I think so long as it looks like a postcard you'll be OK, though some people will mark down for other stuff than text, and according to the letter of the rules, if there's a DQ request the site council ought to disqualify you ...

| orussel, my understanding is that you can only add text to which you can apply dropshadows, styles, etc. Nothing else. When first seeing the challenge, i thought of giving it a nice deckled postcard edge (or whatever such a zigzaggy edge is called on postcards) and one corner somewhat torn and folded. Then i read the challenge again and you can only add text and manipulate that. |

| Postcards take on many forms.. horizontal (landscape), vertical (portrait), and even panoramic... |
