My order was cancelled to. Oh well it was a good attempt. Better not show up on credit card statement either.

My order was cancelled. But they went out of their way to lie about the reason, citing out of stock as previously mentioned in this thread.
Since they would lie about something as innocent as a typo, I made sure that I thanked them on resellerratings.com
Any company that would lie about that is not to be trusted. |

I got my cancelation notice too. I tried calling the phone number on the bottom and was on hold for 10 minutes. I'll try again tomorrow. Just want to know if the site shows it in stock, why did they cancel?
P.S. If anyone else calls........DO NOT mention price.

Got my cancellation, and they are still showing in stock. Seems about time we all rate them. That should help their numbers.
Crossed my mind to order a couple every hour or so, just so that can spend time cancelling and apologizing.
Might be worth a minute to think about complaining to their local BBB. Emails say not in stock, keep people on hold, yet don't correct the price on the site. Sounds like a gimmic to just get customers in the door now. Had they cancelled and fixed the price it would be one thing. But they cancelled, and *LOWERED* the web site price. The fact that it is now buck cheaper than before says they know about the pricing. They just don't seem to care to fix it.
Anyone live in the area. I'm in northern California, so it isn't quite worth the drive to knock on their door. |

I was wondering if this was some kind of gimmick to get people to their site to bump their status somehow. If they don't honor the sale I would call the BBB.

Yeah, mine just got cancelled and it said there weren't any in stock.
I don't think it was a scam, just an error and if 30 people ordered it they can't eat $200 loss per person, so they just cancelled all of them before they shipped. |

I'm of the mind that if it was an honest error, that they would have updated the price and availability by now. Instead it is $1 cheaper and still shows in stock. They had all day to fix the problem. Certainly they must know which page in their system is throwing the number to the checkout basket. I don't think they are out to cheat anyone, I suspect they are trying to generate traffic. Something tells me I will continue to get ads and fliers long after the cancelled order. |

| You fellas didn't read very far in the customer reviews on Pricegrabber or Bizrate or you'd have concluded these are bigtime scammers and bait-and-switch artists. In fact it's shocking that these sites can show summary statistics of 75% customer satisfaction when the reviews aren't that favorable at all (not that 75% is favorable). I ordered three of these cards in haste from work, then went home and read the reviews, and decided I didn't want the hassles, *restocking fees* after being sent the wrong item(!), and all the rest, so I wrote a firm email saying that I wanted them to fulfill the order *only* if they were planning to do so in good faith, or else I wanted to cancel the order right away, and that if sent the wrong merchandise I would decline payment through my credit card. I also said that now that the website price error had come to light, I'd expect it to be corrected. Within the hour I received an email saying the order had been cancelled. I am grateful for that courtesy. I read in a customer review that this firm has Better Business Bureau ratings in something like the bottom decile, though I didn't check this out personally. |
