On a slow ascent again. I think Mondays are always up and down. Usually by Wednesday, I can pretty much tell what's going to be the outcome. Come on folks, give a girl a chance! I just want a 6.00 - is that too much to ask.

Thanks but really I saw some excellent photos better than mine in this challenge and even faved more than I have in any challenge recently.
Oh and  meanwile funny you should say that because I was looking around for those multi-colored bananas gif that I've seen used before.

This will help to make up for my "Seeds" score. I must admit that I tried to sneak one in that people did not fall for. I had just gotten my new D80 and had a shot I liked so I tried to get it to fit. Square peg in a round hole. I do like the new cam.

so far, so good. seeing as it's pic i shot on saturday night, a throwaway. i processed it last night in about 10 minutes, and submitted. i'm fluey, so didn't really care about anything.
maybe it's doing well because i'm thinking like othrs here - there are four similar images to mine in the challenge. most of them better!

i'm sittin on a 4.4 right now
at first i was pissed, but now that i think about it, i deserve it.
it's a macro, but it's definitely not abstract. it's very obvious what it is. i think it's a great image, very clear. composed well. but dangit, suppose it doesn't meet challenge well since it's blatantly obvious what it is.
looks like everyone else is doin good. hope the scores keep goin up.
