Heh. I had a challenge to her, agreeing with you, all typed up. I saw them as one pair, too. Then I thought to do what I suggested and WHAM! Look at that! :) |

LOL Yeah, it was the paint. My eyes started watering and that caused the paint to run. It wasn't pretty.

		Day 21 for me.

I need to spend the evening cleaning and packing - I leave at 5 am tomorrow morning for a business/pleasure trip. I normally wouldn't clean, but there will be people staying here for a few days while I'm gone.

Anyway, here's my Day 21. I may fall a bit behind on this while I'm gone - will have only limited access in the evenings, if then, and am taking the 30D with no remote, which may make SPs a bit more challenging. I will try to comment when I can, though.

And Jeff, don't feel bad, my lovely abstract macro (apparently neither) is currently all the way UP to a 4.9!! Woo hoo! |

I forgot - I meant to add to my photographers note (and I will in a minute) this little tip:

To change eye colors in a photo:
1 - create dupe layer and change blending mode to Color
2 - choose the lovely eye color you wish to have via paintbrush/pallet
3 - paint over the iris with your new color choice

This method only changes the color portions of the eye and doesn't affect white or black - so your details & highlights are unchanged. :)

By the way, I'm assuming you're inserting a background. What are you shooting yourself in front of and how are you getting such clean edges? |

I am using a white painters cloth. I use the magic wand to select and remove any imperfections in the background, then select and remove the whole background. While this is still selected with the wand; I copy whatever backdrop I want to use and paste into selected area. I use the blur brush to try and smooth out the edges. It is still a technique that I am trying to get better at, but it is coming along. I use Photoshop CS2 for my processing. |

Much better now, thanks :) Early Thursday morning was my last semi-coherent day, after that sleep and fever were my companions.

It's nap time, tomorrow I'll see what phototaunts you've thrown at me.

I really -really- need to move where it's warm more than not. |

Cindi told me to stop looking so serious in today's shot. I thought you had to be serious when you were driving, when you're playing around, that's when accidents happen. And that was my having fun face.

I think I fixed the green in it too, Crystal. Someone needs to come calibrate my monitor for me.
