hopefully someone has the time to critique this pic for me, I sure would appreciate it..I submitted this, or TRIED to last night at 11:59 for "lines" challenge and i missed the deadline :-(...THEN it had blue jerseys...so I edited jerseys to purple via hue/sat to whole image...submitted it for that and my 13 year old son informed me pic was taken on 19th and had to be 20th or later..soooooooo that's also out..so that leaves me to have someone critique/comment on it this way. Hopefully, since I'm not getting many comments/suggestions on my challenge entries I'll get the "learning" criticism here. I have gotten one comment from a 'sports photographer' on this site and I did appreciate that immensly. Thanks so much and God's blessings to you all. Sonya

also want to insert, friend in DPC told me this would NOT score well for DPC entry... however, I liked the contrast of the red/purple colors, I liked the way the hands seem to be saying..."stop the purple!" hence the title, and I do know woulda been nice if football was between the opposing teams....there WAS a football on that line SOMEWHERE> lol

It's a nice shot. The theme may not have been strong enough for either of those challenges though. Great shot for your portfolio.
