I was at a friends house to day and she asked me about the PS 7.0 on her computer and how to use it. It has been on her system, but she has no idea what to do with it. I showed her some stuff. The one problem she has though I have no idea what is causing it. She can open her photos in ULead PhotoImpact and the colors look pretty normal and saturated neutrally. When she opens the same image in PS 7.0, the images look over satured and the colors are all off. I checked and she has both set to the same sRGB setting on both programs. What could be causing this and how can she fix it so that the images look the same ion PS 7.0 when opened, as they do in her other programs?

Althoug PS 7.0 might be set to sRGB, it might also be set to "proof colors" in another space. If "Proof Colors" is checked, uncheck it and see if that solves the problem.

where would this setting be? I have PS CS2 on my system and things are not the same on the two.

So you do all of your editing with proof on? I've been having similar problems. Having the proof matches what I see when I upload to DPC.
