Thanks

Your photos are quite beautiful, but for some reason the website doesn't strike me as that professional. It's about halfway there though. (and I noticed at least one spelling mistake). |

Your site is clean and simple. I like it.
Your mouse-overs take too long to load though and I'm on Cable too. :o) You should try and reducing the image weight. 5k should be plenty. This should solve that minor detail. :o)

One very quick and easy way to make a site less amateur-looking is to use a different font than Times New Roman. This can be accomplished with a font tag or with css. Your navigation on the left side is pretty far down and doesn't seem have any reason for doing so. Moreover, if you look at your site in 800x600 (probably 40-50% of your traffic), the left side has to scroll down to see all of th navigation. I'm not sure about your choice to open each full-size image in a new window. If you're going to do that, you may want to consider using javascript to open them in sized-popups. There's some great work on that site -- good luck! :)

That URL not only gives you the javascript to open sized images, but it does so in a way that is really user-friendly. I have joined the revolution and now use that code whenever I work on a new site.
For more information about the parameters of the window.open javascript syntax, try this url or just search for 'window.open' in google.
