Quick Challenge Question 1st timer

Canon EF 17-40mm f/4.0L USM

Hi there,

I thought I'd uploaded my first ever challege photo, but when I look at my profile it says 'has not participated in any challenges'.

Can anyone tell me if that's because the challenge hasn't finished yet - or I haven't been successful in uploading my image?

How would I know if the image has gone through?

If you click on the challenge it will show your entry, if it is in the voting stage it will appear at the bottom.

WOW - thanks for such quick responses.

I've really held back in entering the challenges, and once I'd FINALLY made the decision to do it I didn't want to miss out - GRIN!

Ok now you've got me worried - what do I need to know about the update button - I DID press it - Now I'm scared!

Another thing is that, I think on the options page, there is a way to get email confirmations of submission. If you upload a different file you don't get additional confirmations though.
