What do you guys think of this shot? Please leave me some comments as to what I could do better with it and what I did right.

surely the obvious comment is that she shouldn't be using her hands...

seriously though, our soccer season has just finished and one of the things I noticed I was doing early in the season was blowing out the highlights on just one of the channels if the players were wearing bright red or green uniforms (none of the local teams wear blue so that wasn't an issue).

From a post-production perspective, here's what I've done:



Using PS Elements 4.0:

- Adjusted the levels
- Created a "sky/clouds" layer
- Adjust the levels on the new layer (to bring more detail to the clouds)
- Saturated the reds and the yellows (original layer)
- Unsharp mask (original layer)
- Saved as JPG
