Isn't that the same lens you are talking about? That is also the one I mention above. High price, off-white color (not so discrete ...) and "only" 200 mm, but maybe with a 1.4 or even 2.0 extender for those long shots ...

Compared to the 70-200 2.8L IS, the one above is smaller and lighter, that means a lot to me ... 172 mm is long enough already!
