I guess I should have realized this but as an excuse (?) I wasn't up there to take photos...

When I was in Vancouver a month ago, we (the family) went to dinner to this rotating restaurant with this very nice view of the city. As i had my camera with me (and a tripod of course) I just laid it out next to our table, attached a cable release to it and ordered my meal...

The error: i had a tripod and all, but the platform that we were on was ROTATING so I ended up having a little motion blur on all images. Oh well, next time better luck, right.

See it here:
Vancouver at night.

Let me know what you think when you have a chance. (I've heard from some people that they couldn't see it/load it - I didn't have any problems with it. Please report if you experience any difficulties. It's a brand new web site still under development.)

Wow...that is one heck of a scene. It loaded quickly for me and I was able to zoom in and move around. Awesome. I miss those lights.

Thanks, Judi!

On the other hand, maybe the restaurant weren't rotating, maybe it was that wine they served... it is a composite of ~20 images.

Here's another one from the same trip:(8 images composite)
