A storm swept through just before 5pm. It was hovering over downtown while I was walking out to the car, when the sun parted and shone this fantastic spotlight down on the skyscrapers. Not the best on clarity since it was windy, I didn't have my tripod, and my telephoto lens isn't exactly high quality, but I think the spotlight effect is rather cool :D

I happened to get to see some of that as I was being thrown all over the road and beaten with rain on my motorcycle going to work. Ok, so I didn't see much of it. :)

Thanks Mick! Here's another shot from yesterday, taken through the front windshield of my car while stuck in traffic. Being a Midwesterner in Colorado it still amuses me to see these horse properties in the middle of the city.
