Just found out I am pre-diabetic and have been put on the drug Metformin and would like to hear from anyone taking this drug about side effects and managing their blood sugar.

I was hit with the same diagnosis, and put on the drug, which had no side effects as far as I'm concerned. Elimination of sugared soft drinks and loss of 25 lbs took care of my problem, and they took me off the drug.
