Yes, 20D is the only undefeated team this season but week ten they play team Ninja newbies and they are on a roll. At the moment only 0.1243 separates the two teams in average.
I advise each team to look at where they stand and what they need to do to advance to the playoffs.

Things are a little closer in our leagues so Se7endity will be thankfull for rule 8 a :)
8) Tiebreakers at season̢۪s end:
a) In the event that two teams have identical W/L percentages at the end of the season, the first tiebreaker is the teams̢۪ season averages, with the higher season average winning

Way to go Scott, good to know we can always count on you updating, doing a stand up job as usual.
Just curious on the Gary Larson challenge, is it in week 10 or in the first week of the playoffs, not that it really matters to me personally, I am extremely unlikely to participate unless I am scoring absymally in other challenges but it would be good to know. Thanx in advance! :) |

It will be in the first round of the playoffs because it was announced after Tuesday and before Sunday.
Thanks for the comments.

don't get too excited about it yet... you still have to win both week 9 and 10, 'cause we don't plan to lose...

True, very true, you are right and I was presuming we would both win our last 2 weeks. I'm just sorry you will be 9 and 1 like us and have to meet Team 20D first ;)

This week (9) Underexposed and Se7endipity should be looking closely at the Shutterbugz vs The F/Stops Here! match-up. Here is the reason why.
Simply put if both Underexposed and Se7endipity wins.
1) and Shutterbugz looses to F/Stops here! then Underexposed clinches their division and Se7endipity will have to wait till week 10 to see if they win their division.
2) BUT if F/Stops here! looses to Shutterbugz then Se7endipity clinches their division and Underexposed will have to wait till week 10 to see if they win their division.

actually, i predict the hormones pull one out and beat you week 10... sending you off to meet f/stops in round 1 of the playoff...
then we beat you before serving up some much needed humility to team 20d...
and how can this be? because we're team underexposed. prepare to have your histogram shifted left...

Do the playoffs continue straight after week 10. Do we have to carry on shooting not knowing if we are in round 1 or the league championships?

Hey Mark, that means we get 2 weeks off then ;) Though am thinking week 10 might be a tough one for us.

Out of curiosity, why doesn't the Far Side challenge count for week 10? |

Originally posted by scalvert: Out of curiosity, why doesn't the Far Side challenge count for week 10? |
Because during the regular season a week ran from Thursday to Wednesday. Since the "Far Side" Challenge was announced after the cutoff of week 10 it did not count. The cutoff of week ten was Tuesday-midnight or Wednesday morning 00:00 a.m.
If we would of had a week 11 it would of counted for that week. But since there is a week off before the playoffs then it is not a valid challenge.
Hope that helps
