I took some pictures at the Renaissance Festival last weekend. What do you think?

Does anyone else have Renaissance pictures?

I love the depth you've caught in the eyes.

I went to the Ren Fair a few weeks ago...
Got permission ;). Old guy next to me said 'Damn if that's all it takes, I've got to buy a camera'.

Continuing blacksmith series this year, hope to do it every year from now on.
Loved the maypole dancers
and, umm.... Little Drummer Boy. Weird dude, good music.

Umm, yeah... the thing about the ren-fest, you sometimes have to watch out for, err... switch hitters, if you take my meaning. Single dudes beware (possibly single gals beware)

Oh, man..... I always forget that no one quite does it the was Kansas City does. They have an entire Midieval town built next to the Sandstone Ampitheatre, and the share the parking. The thing is huge, the atmosphere is great and some people really get lost in it. The have hired wandering actors that play their assigned roles at all times, and only break character when they go through the "employees only" gates. People really should come to this one if they like ren-faire, and want to see one done right.

For a more participatory experience you might want to look up the Society for Creative Anacronism. There are local groups almost everywhere ... |

Thanks for the comments, I was away for a little bit, but I'm back now. Yeah, the 5 picture on mine might not be a girl, but the picture still works.
Does anyone have more pictures?
