I was reading a thread and thought, it might be cool to have an internal score card for individual camera or makers of camera.
I.E. Sony 707/717 or Just sony cameras
and how they rate among each other within any giving challenge.
I don't know how difficult that may be to post/calculate.
It is just a thought.

I think so, but with a further filtering of each individual challenge ...

Like this but so that you could browse challenges|camera type, if you see what I mean.

Think I'd check it out each challenge for sure - but then there's hundreds of us with the 602.

Thank you for sharing this link. I was not aware of it and found it to be very interesting. I suppose I should tour around this site every once in a while to discover the many new features that I was unaware of since I originally joined last year. Cheers, Morgan

That sounds like a great idea but I'm not sure that it would truly reflect on the quality of the camera. It seems to me that the more expensive cameras would be on top but not because of the higher quality but because people who are more comfortable behind the lese will feel more comfortable spending more money for a camera. Give a 10 year old kid a $2,000 camera and a professional photographer a 2mp $300 camera and guarantee that the $300 camera will have the higher scores.

I see what you are trying to get at with the individual camera scores per challenge, and it would be very interesting to see those stats, but I don't think they would really be saying much. Just my opinion.
