This is the name of this wonderful plant;
Queen Victoria Agave (Agave victoriae-reginae). Here is a link to more information on this species:

I am in "LOVE" and it is a plant, that I have to have, as I have never seen an "agave" patterned like this before......

Will it grow well in your climate? If so, you better get one in a hurry and start those photos coming! I can picture you inverting a few images of it.

We are going on vacation as of Thursday for 10 days. I plan on keeping my eye out for Sherpet type plants or at least plants that lend themselves to the Sherpet treatment. Hopefully I will have some new ones for you when we get back Shez! |

"COOL".....I was going to put it in here, but decided against it, hoping you would do so yourself..... I love the soft textures & the silvery grey green of the spike that you captured.....

I really enjoy your photos Sherpet! I don't have any Agave plants so I used bear_music's example and used a Dahlia instead! (They don't really come in this colour though, PSPX is a wonderful thing!) Hope you like it!

I am more than impressed, and hope to see some more images with this style.
