I know the best way to get comments on photos is to enter challenges.
I have made a promise to myself to enter more challenges, I just need to get over my fear of screwing up and then posting it for the world to see. But for now, I would love to get some input on some of the photos in my portfolio.
I'm new to SLR photography. I just got my Rebel XT in April. I've had no formal instruction in the field of photography but I have a great passion for it and a strong desire to learn as much as I can. Maybe one day even make some money. Who knows?

So, I would appreciate any comments left and I will gladly return the favor. Comment for comment. Assuming, of course, anyone is actually interested in my somewhat uninformed opinion.

Thanks,

Todd

Sometimes it is very wonderful to get a comment from someone who is viewing things through eyes that aren't totally professional.

I would like to thank everyone for the very helpful comments so far.
Lots of very useful information. Would love more if anyone is bored.
I would also love some general comments on my portfolio. I know it's just a bunch of whatever all thrown together but I'm looking for general info, based on what you've seen of my abilities, that might be helpful the next time I'm shooting.
Thanks again.

Looked thru your portfolio. My favorite shot is 'Time to Eat' what an awsome macro shot!
