Here We Go!!!
HAHA BABY...10 minutes til kickoff.
Let's see if they can get it done minus Roethlisberger. I have faith in Batch...either way...WOOT WOOT.

Anyway, just figured I'd start the new season off with the obligatory Steeler's thread. I'm pretty sure Alan is there...so maybe he'll have some pics for us tonight.

Welcome back to the NFL everyone. Maybe if the Steelers make the Superbowl this year, THEY can actually beat the Seahawks... |

This SUCKS! I don't have cable tv and can't get NBC on a regular station (LAME). I'm listening to the game on a local radio station in Pittsburgh.
I know...it's better than nothing at all but still.
and....WHY ON A THURSDAY NIGHT??? There's another game on a Thursday night in December too. *shakes head* |

Saban's throwing skills suck. How about throwing it where the refs can see it? |

Just call them the Stealers ... still, glad to see they're upholding the highest standards of modern American business ethics -- quite the role models for all the youngsters watching tonight. |

Yeah, we did steal that TD but hey...the refs called it!
hehe
Even without that sh*t touchdown we still won ;) |

Hello from deep within the walls of Heinz Field! This was a pretty cool game, once the Steelers finally figured out that it counted. Cool pregame stuff, too! |

steelers got so lucky...well, they do have an awesome defense and Parker is a stud...but for most of the game, Miami did very well.

I'm soooo jealous.
BTW, be sure to check out my Day 4 self portrait (if you're a Steelers fan). It will be up in a couple hours.

Here we go STEELERS.... Miami and Culpepper really look terrible. No luck involved in this WIN. Miami got beat by a back-up QB...what a shame! The Big Nasty D strikes again!

Everybody always picks 2 teams each year to win it all, Miami, and San Diego. Each year they always suck, but the very next season for some reason everybody thinks they will be the best teams in football.
Serves them right. I hate the black and gold, but I was rooting for them to beat Miami just because the critics want them to win so bad. I hope San Diego looses by 1000. |
