Just wanted take a few minutes to introduce myself. My name is Heather and I'm from Tennessee. I've been watching the contests & threads for about a month and decided to give it a try by joining for a month. I used to use a Minolta x-700, until I recently upgraded to my Canon Digital Rebel XT. I've put a few of my pictures in my portfolio. You'll find most of them of nature and horses. I do a little "recreational" photography at horse shows, and I've managed to even sell a few. I am completely self taught, so they are not as nice as others I've seen on this site. Feel free to take a look at my portfolio and leave any comments.

Hi Heather,
I am sure you will enjoy it. I am not a member :( but one day...
I looked at some of your pictures and some are great, just one question do you post process? some of them could use at least some curves for an extra punch :)

| Ivan, I do very little post processing simply because I don't know how! I do use hue/saturation on some pix. The only editing software I have is ArcSoft Photostudio. |
