Anyone want to go all black and white for the next 7 challenges with me (including the free study)?
I've wanted to go on a black and white kick for awhile now, and I just want to see if anyone else is interested in doing it with me. I loooove black and white images, I'm just always a little weary of submitting them to challenges since this place loves color so much. Alas....I'm going to do it anyways.
The only way black and white won't be submitted is if the challenge is color specific, like pastels or green.
You should do it....mhmmhmhmmhmhmhmhmmm

oddly enough, i was just thinking this morning that i should try a b&w for the next free study, since i don't do many of them...
so for that challenge, at least, i'm with you...

I hardly ever enter but I want to try something for 2 so I am all for B&W

I am going black and white for both free study and A Single Tree. I don't enter every challenge, so you can count me out on geometry and chemistry. Otherwise, for the next 7 challenges I participate in I will go black and white.
Was out this morning and set my camera to black and white. Got some pretty nice images, though it was a bit gray out so I really have to tweak in some contrast.
It is a challenge to try black and white. Since I am still really learning, I guess the images may not have all the photo rules in place, but it will be an excellent opportunity to get my black and white eye back. Haven't had cause to use it for a lot of years.

I was going to enter;
to the last free study, but I didn't. I entered a "prettier" picture and it is at a 5.5....mwha.
Sweet...well as long as a I have a couple of people entering black and whites with me I'm happy.
We are the BW Crew.

| My last entry was B&W, and someone correctly pointed out that the movie I quoted was indeed in color. But I may do a few more B&W entries - I tend to prefer it. |

| I dont enter a lot of challenges, but my Single tree entry is BW. So count me in. |

Just wondering if anybody else is up for dealing with black and white for the rest of the month of September. It does encourage a different view of subjects. Relys more on form and contrast than color. Any more takers?
