I would love to see a challenge dedicated to wildlife in honor of Steve Irwin.
"Take a photo of wildlife featured in one of Steve Irwin's shows in memory of Steve Irwin."

How about just "wildlife" -- since some people may not have access to exotic reptiles, and despite his widespread poularity, not everyone has seen his show. |

how about something like "get in your face with nature!" or "get all up in nature!" or "get up close and personal with the wilderness!"

This would be a fun challenge. I seen lots of wildlife while I was out driving around in the boonies this morning.

Hold off until I get to Alaska next month and I'll try to get a good grizzlie photo. That way I can honor Timothy Treadwell too.

Hey the original superman died in the last couple days too. Sure he wasn't killed by a fish, but how about a challenge along those lines? Tall buildings, speeding bullets, telephone booths. Come on, you know you love it. |

One of the lads from work has a housemate with a pet Taranchula who shed it's skin a week or so ago and he brought it into work, I borrowed it for 10 minutes and this is one of the shots.
I think Steve had a few of these.
