Ok I find myself sleepy throughout the day because my nighttime sleep is broken. When I go to sleep at night I usually wake up every hour and half to two hours then go back to sleep and repeat the same thing over and over until morning. I also dream vivid dreams and sometimes find myself waking up finishing a sentence I was saying during sleep. I also can remember dreams for days if not months or years after dreaming them when most people, within five minutes, forget what they have dreamed. I also can remember multiple dreams per night all in very deep detail.

Ok so a sleep study was done. Every thing looked ok but I did talk during sleep. I also would respond to questions during sleep. And here is the weird part; I would speak broken Spanish in my sleep. Why is that weird? I have never taken Spanish in school or lessons. I do not watch Spanish films listen to Spanish music. I don̢۪t have any friends or family that speak Spanish around me. And I don̢۪t know any Spanish except numbers 1-10 while awake. So how is it I can know it well enough to speak broken Spanish while sleeping? When I say broken Spanish. It was recorded that I would speak complete sentences in Spanish during sleep.

I am very much afraid of dreams. In the morning I can not remember most of them, but if i remeber them, most of them have come true. So when I see a bad dream I become very cautious.
Last year I saw I dream that I had broken relations with one of close friends. I got up thinking, nah its not possible. One year on, we do not talk to each other.

Here is one dream I had. I will keep it short.

I have a friend that is a hunter. He has a portable climbing dear stand. I dreamed he was in a tree and fell to the ground. The last segment of the dream was me wheeling him out of the hospital in a wheel chair.

Upon awakening about 6 am on Saturday knowing that was a hunting day for him I went straight to the phone and called. I just knew he had already left but he answered. I told him I was glad I got a hold of him and asked why he didn't go hunting that morning. He said he was going to go early but found it hard to get out of bed so he slept in. He told me he was about to go out the door when I called.

I begged him not to go. I told him I had a bad dream about him falling. He said don't worry I will be all right. But after talking to me he didn't go. But the following week his brother-in-law (also has the same name as my friend) asked to borrow his dear stand, the type that you climb with. He did and it broke on him when he was climbing and feel. Luckily he was not injured.

I had this dream where Safeway doubled the price of Cheezits and my club card expired. The only cheap Cheezits were the reduced fat ones and the "Fiesta Party" kind, as well as a nonexistant snack from my dream known as "Munchitos".

Turns out "Munchitos" are plain Pringles.

It was a living hell.

I now have two boxes of Tabasco Cheezits in my kitchen. And Oreo's, just for fun.

SG,

Ever hear of lucid dreaming? This sounds like a form of it. Most of the time, you control your own dreams when lucid. However, sometimes, they control you, if you get my drift. In your dreams, you can do many things that you wouldn't think you could do during your wake time, however, it is quite real to your mind. And yes, speaking a language you don't know has been known to happen.

If you took a sleep study, with real psychologists and all, they should have told you that you are waking up right at the end of your sleep cycle, which is why your dreams are so vivid. I bet you feel pretty well rested when you wake up, as well.

The normal person's sleep cycle lasts between 1 hour 15 minutes and 2 hours. And typically, a person needs 2 cycles for the body to rest.

When I wake up I feel refreshed and rested for a short while (maybe a hour or two) then I get tired again. The sleep study was done at the hospital and I have not received the full results but the professional that conducted the sleep study did say I was waking up during rem sleep. If that makes since. I have tried reading up on it but I don't understand it.

Can you point me to any other studies that show people talking a different language during sleep. I would like to read up on it.
