Check this out.. my helpful comments outnumbered my comments made!
Cool ehh...

ok.. I've gone through a bunch of new DCPer's photos and dropped of a bunch of comments.

If you'll like to have your photos commented by an Mr. Amatuer (AKA ME!!)
post it in this thread... I'll comment all the photos in the first page tonight.. :)

Yeah. I think that is a quirk of when you make comments on an active challenge. The helpful count goes up, but the comments made only seems to go up after the challenge finishes.

Mine's more of a 3/4 ratio.

I used to have more Helpful vs Comments, and was told it's because the comments left on a current challenge (in voting period) will not be counted in the total comments made. Maybe that's why your stats look the way they are?

Heey that's cool. Some one wanting to give comments. I love to give comments, but it isn't that easy to express your self in a different language. I mean just a little chat is ok, but to discribe your feelings about a picture is quit hard. But I try and guess it's getting bit by bit a little beter. I learn a lot by reading other comments.

You learn and improve as you comment more.
Haven't got anyone saying I made a typo on their comments yet.
I think most people are grateful enough to receive comments,
so having someone to bitch about our english shouldn't happen (very often). Cheers!

I think it'd be pretty rude to actually go and correct someone's language if they have taken the trouble to comment on your photo. This is not "englishchallenge.com" after all.

Haha I guess not, so I just keep on trying! And liking it, but some times my comment is more shallow and shorter than I meant. Its from a good heart though! :D

Well.. My membership will have to wait as I'm going through some difficult times here and I'll have to pull out of it before spending on other stuffs..

In mean while, I'm just glad I can take part in the open challenges..

It's extremely rare that I get a comment that isn't during a challenge. As I don't enter too much I don't get many :( Much appreciated if you find something in my portfolio that you can comment on.
