My daughter will be turning 10 in a few weeks and wants to have a science experiment party!
Does anyone know any simple science experiments that have real wow factor and dont cost alot?

i don't know about where you are, but around here, there's a company called 'mad science' that actually does birthday parties. pretty wild stuff, and not terribly expensive. |

how about the mentos diet coke reaction... it is fun for me...and has scientific basis..
you drop a few mentos in a diet coke bottle and a gas+coke will rush out of the bottle in a cool fountain...
