I too am on the look out for a monitor. Not sure I want a wide screen either. I get the impression that a LCD is the way to go?
Hubby not interested in 23 inch. Must say I'm a bit confused myself . . |

well ... i am still confused ... which one should i buy .... between the same size (20" that is) widescreen or 4:3.
Please ... someone just said in this thread that in widescreen there is lesser space, so i want to know Please !!!!!! |

I would not give up my widescreen LCD for anything in the world. I can run my windows/photos at the usual 4:3 ratio and still have room for all my tool bars and Skype menu/chats on the side. I have a 21 inch widescreen. It's not much taller than my old 17" CRT but the extra width.... I can't say enough about it!

go for 4:3 20" as you'll gain the extra pixels :) |
