Thought I'd post this up while I have a chance; I'm leaving in about 12 hours for the long slog to Logan airport and an early ayem flight to Florida. This is a working trip (meeting with an author to work on his book), and I'll be back late Tuesday. Then Thursday very early I leave for Oregon (family wedding) and will be back the following Tuesday.

So just in case anyone starts wondering "Why hasn't Bear posted?" (probably unlikely, but you never know) that's why. Don't worry about me, I'll be shooting images for "best of 2006" on the Gulf Coast and on Cannon Beach :-)

Have fun Robert!!! Just got back from Florida myself. Hopefully you'll have some good weather for shooting!

MMMMMMM Cannon Beach???? You mean a beach in which everybody wears a Canon camera? It's that the paradise...LOL. I couldn't help it, sorry.

Have a great couple trips Robert. Resist the temptation and stay away from the marshes. ;-) I'll be eager to see your shots.

Where are you going, anywhere near South Florida?

Originally I had hoped for a free week in the Northwest, but it's been reduced to 2 free days, so I won't be getting up to Washington State. More's the pity :-( Would've loved to hook up with you, Mick, and other members in the area. Thanks for the offer.

Instead of a challenge of, "Where is Bear Music?" perhaps we ought to have one that's "What is Bear Music?" Take a shot that depicts music for bears...

Well, you are going to be on the other side of the state from me. I get over there sometimes, usually Marco Island or Naples. They are near Ft. Myers and worth a visit. Also definitely worth a short drive are Sanibel Island and Captiva.

I would have liked to have met up with you if I was going to be there this long weekend.

Rumor has it that Bear_Music IS missing.

Fiendish space aliens have abducted him and are even now brainwashing him with photoshop post processing techniques to be taught on DPC that will cause every DPC photographer's UFO pictures to look like fuzzy, poor quality fakes that will help mask their devious plot to conquer Earth.

I know... they tried it with me... but failed. I think.

It's a slow process, however. I'm trying to lure Steve over to Cannon Beach so I can work directly on him. I am no longer me, of course.
