Lila, you can use this as a comment pro temp, until your comments return:

"The lighting contrasts nicely with the shadows. The subtles hues present throughout stimulate the rods and cones just enough, giving the eye a tease without taxing. Your use of symbolism is quite remarkable, I hadn't thought of putting those elements together - exceptionally well done."

Which reminds me. I was curious to how the entries are presented to each voter. Are they randomized?

The reason I'm asking is that I imagine many folks quitting after they reach 20% voting. If the photos are not randomly presented to each voter, then (hypothetically) those beyond the 20% will never receive votes.

well i just voted on half of them, but i need to step away... there are SOOOOO many entries... I made comments on the ones I thought deserved a reason for whatever score I gave it... people might get mad at me... but they are just my opinions... I am just trying to share how I felt... and i hope thats understood...

i'm gonna return to score the rest a little later!!!

Yes, they are randomized. I even get different orders just going between my work and home computers even though I log in with the same account.

However, I do understand that not everyone has the time or technology to comment. In another thread, I explained that I live too far out to have broadband or DSL so just voting is a task in itself. I will do my best to comment but either way life goes on.
