I have posted before how I cannot find seamless background paper here in Guam. I even checked with a photo studio to ask and they said no-one sells it.
B&H charges $200 to ship $100 worth of paper!!!!!
Assignment: Find a place online that will ship to Guam for a reasonable price. My zip code is 96915.
I cannot find anyone :o(
Thanks :)

Aren't you in an APO? That means they can ship to the APO which is a stateside address and it's much cheaper.

My husband does have an FPO AP address. However, at b&h the cost is the same to send it to the ship or my house.
.....oh, and FPO seems to only accept USPS. FYI, Guam uses the USPS as well as FedEx.

i guess you've considered alternatives - a roll of craft paper, newsprint, cloth?

The problem is I want white (at least) and 9ft wide. I currently use muslin which works ok for head and shoulders shots, but is sucks when you want your subject sitting on the ground.

ooooh, great deal. Photographyprops.com only wants $1,513.80 to ship 3 rolls of paper via UPS! (UPS doesn't do much here on the island)

Might consider shopping for sites that aren't based in the US... not sure if that helps, but it may.

I was able to place the order, but there is an * at the final checkout saying they will email me for approval if the shipping charges are going to be more than the $21. I am guessing there will be additional charges, but I guess I will find out soon enough.
Thank you :)
Keep the ideas coming, in case this one falls through..LOL

Well, I was able to order 4 rolls of 9ftx12yd paper from them. The paper was $214 and shipping was $69 via FedEx. I went ahead and ordered it. Thanks for the link!
My portraits are really starting to pick up, and I really hate using white muslin! I ordered black, gray, white, and red. It will actually be my first time using paper, and I am SOOOOO excited.

find someone on ebay auctioning some off and not charging for shipping. When you win the auction, they can either send it for free, or get some bad feedback when they don't send it.
I once sold a $120 motorcycle helmet on there for a freaking dollar and shipping included. It cost me $13 to ship it, so I lost the helmet and $12 in the deal.

The biggest issue is finding someone who will ship such a large and odd sized item to Guam.
