It would be really cool if the DPC programmer talent would send an email or PM to the OP whose thread not just gets locked but vanishes altogether.
What a cool feature that would be for those that go to the front page to see what one thought of their idea but instead are like, "WTF, I just made a post - where did it go?"

I agree that this is a good idea and will pass it on to the admins.
Until we can get this implemented, if you post a personal attack veiled as a website suggestion, you may safely assume it will be removed.

Terry, isn't this just a matter of SC sending those messages? I've asked for the same thing myself, because it is one of the most confusing things I've experienced to have a thread disappear entirely. Not for personal attacks, but because I ignorantly posted an outtake. I didn't mind the deletion once I figured it out, but it really threw me. |
