"RECYCLED"
Depicting things being used for a purpose other than was originally intended i.e. a watering can used as a planter, a shoe used as a door stop, a book used to press a flower. It could be interesting? |

I agree, great idea! In one of the challenges a couple months ago, someone submitted an old shoe that was used as a planter, which I really liked.
There was a "Garbage" challenge that I thought of because of the great winning shot by Alansfreed which was an old soda can dropping into a trash can (that's why I remember it cause it's like recycling).
This challenge would really test your creativity. ...So I would probably sit that one out, but would love voting on it. LOL.

| If recycle was a challenge, some wise guy (like me) could submit a photo I already submitted once and say, "it's recycled!" |

hmm... I was thinking about the recyle topic and found this thread when I searched.
I think it would be fun to do a re-use/recycle themed challenge. Something where the subjects have to do with "One man's trash is another man's treasure" or recycling/re-use/re-purpose in general.... |

This is a great topic for photography and philosophy:
Recycling is sometimes pigeon-holed (like bottles and cans etc) but it is actually a way to get stuff cheaply or for free .... EBAY is an example of recycling that is both capitalistic and often earth-friendly (often not always of course).
On a personal note: I always wanted to make a F___ T___ out of a T________ but I'll save it for the challenge!
