Hey all,

My uncle has a bunch of points on his AmEx card and wanted to get a P&S. Here are his choices... anyone care to make any recommendations?

Canon PowerShot A530

Nikon Coolpix 4600

Sony Cybershot DSC-S600

Sanyo VPC-S60

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2S
//www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vModelDetail?storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&itemId=95965&catGroupId=24999&modelNo=DMC-LS2S&surfModel=DMC-LS2S&cacheProgram=11002&cachePartner=7000000000000005702

Pentax Optio E10

I was leaning toward the Canon or the Nikon, but really have no idea. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

And I would have said the Canon :) Then again, I don't know much!

If you go on dpreview.com you can check out the reviews of the cameras and the forums have all kinds of info. Some cameras may not have reviews but it's worth a shot.

don't know how many points, but at least 35,000 or so if he can pick any one of these cams.

Thanks for the link to the reviews. I was thinking Canon, but I'll see what the reviews say.
