a 'used' new toy anyway - a Nikon CoolScan IV slide/film scanner
at roughly the same resolution as my D200
I just scanned this
tres' cool
My father-inlaw has 10,000's of slides going back to the 50's ..
looking to start on those some time ;) at rougly a minite a slide it will take a few years ....

can you put more than one slide on at a time?

yes BUT it's a 500$ adapter to take 50 at a time :(
thats what theve been running on ebay anyway ...sigh..
(only paid 250$ for the scanner)

it will do a strip of 2-6 frames of film (colour/b+w)
