Something weird happened today. I transferred a couple hundred photos to my PC in RAW format, and I opened them in Photoshop like I always do. Except this time for some reason I got that error message you get when the Camera Raw.8bi isn't installed. I was worried at first because I thought maybe the raw files were corrupt, but after looking in the Plugins folder I saw that the 8bi file was missing. I have been using that plugin with PS to open RAW files for a few months now without any problems. Then for some unknown reason it gets deleted. There really isn't any explanation I can come up with. Anyone have this happen before?

Reason windows. Fix Abdobe.com you can download it. I have had it happen before, the reason I blame windows is "its always bill gates fault" :)

Yeah I always keep a back up of programs/plugins. I just thought it was a weird occurence. I've been using Windows since 3.0 and never seen files just disappear. I've seen them get corrupt, renamed, and reduced in size, but not just vanish. I'm just hoping this doesn't happen to one of my very few good pictures!!
