Running With Scissors, by Augusten Burroughs is one of my favorites. Another one of his, Dry, is awesome as well. They're definitely not PG-13, but they're not the hardest R ever. :) They're amazing though.
The True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters by Elisabeth Robinson I found pretty fascinating because I love the film industry, and it's a novel written only in letters which I thought was interesting as well.
A Million Little Pieces by JT Leroy, which I guess was found out to NOT be fact, or maybe very little fact, I'm not sure since I never really read up on the scandal, but it's a great book as well.
I'm trying to wrack my brain right now.
Naked, by David Sedaris was hilarious.
Hello to All That: A Memoir of War, Zoloft, and Peace was an amazing read. Oh, by John Falk.
ANywya, these are all fairly recent books, but all are great.
