Nice of you to say, but we need both.

I admire you all who take risks. That's how you get those great shots. I tend to stay within myself and bang out upper 5's & low 6's. The consistancy might keep the game close, but the homerun shots seal the deal.

Well I stink out loud. I like to try for cool stuff but I fail a lot. My processing puts some people off too but I like it. I have some cool ideas for this weeks challenges though. Between crystal's and my fire ideas we may not have a house left to processe and post them though:)

I had a good image for the 'from the ground looking up'.. only to realize that the challenge closed YESTERDAY.. i didn't get to enter :( :( :(

I decided to enter at the last minute and resized to 460 instead of 640 so I am getting low votes for being too small.

without the computer i wouldnt be able submit the pic so we wouldnt have a blue ribbon in our "lot" either. lol

I think i am semi retiring from challenges. I will enter (and give it a good shot) if the team needs my entry. everyone will need to post here saying if they have an entry so i know if we have enough.

I have entrys in this week and will be doing the steve davidson challenge because i have been begging for an open editing challenge. but I am so over working so hard for low scores and no reason given for them. In the beginging i learned alot from the comments but it seems that i have gotten good enough to not get alot of helpfull coments but not good enough to score well.

so we will see what the future holds after these two weeks.

sorry team, I sat out the last two as my scores had been horrid and on top of that my life is full of stress with my move to Alaska coming up in Ocotber, trying to sell my house here, and make sure I have a place to live with all my dogs there.

Right now I am entered in Peas, and in Stupid, stupid.

Peas: 5.5899

Stupid: 5.6230

So even taking a couple challenges off didn't help. My scores remain mediocre. :( I really am trying too.

Every entry helps. And remember low scores don't hurt, but not submitting can. The hardest thing about doing this for 10 weeks is avoiding "burnout".

As far as mediocre scores go...my transportation started at 4.1 and barely moved all week. Day one, I was pretty bummed (& still don't fully understand it) but I then I shrugged it off & knew that I had two others that would score better.

Honestly, if we don't win another match, I will still consider this a success because every week we facing different obstacles & learning something about overcoming them. So, it's all good.

Shutterpug- You're moving to Alaska! As a photographer you've got to be pumped. Now you have to promise us you won't switch teams when you get there.

Talk about a close one...we fell just 145/10,000 of a point shy of our fouth win (against

Joey Lawrence,

Elsapo, & the rest)! That has to be one of the narrowest margin of victories yet in the WPL2.

I hope everyone found time to get something in this week. It seemed like some of us are feeling a little burned out. But there are only two more weeks before we're done, since we have the bye in week 10.

Has anyone given any thought to WPL3?

I self dQ'd from soft focus because I was in the 3s but I have a 5.9 in magic and crystal has a 6 in steve davidson

That's sounds great! I'm also looking at a 6 in magic. So if anyone else entered, were at least in the game.
