| It seems to me that a lot of entries are jokes. I thought I'd have a go at that, so I entered an enormous joke. It just cleared 4.000 after 100 or so votes. I shall never try to be funny again. |

enter what YOU like - you can never please DPC voters.
I have entered humor before and had mixed outcomes. I entered a non-humorous shot for this challenge and at the magic number of 100 votes I am only at 5.5100....guess that is close to where it'll finish. Oh well. |

I did not enter this challenge but just finished voting. I thought there was a high % of creativity and was impressed by the ideas people came up with. Congratulations to all of you for even coming up with a 'pea shot' - that was one heck of a challenge topic.
Imagination, wit, and some fine macros in there.
I loved the humorous entries as well ( so many of them ) and please don't be discouraged from doing 'funny' again. |

That's a lot of views this early. Must be a compelling image. I had a similar ratio with my "30 Second Exposure" entry.

Just a shame that the amount of views doesnt translate over into great votes. I guess my shot could just be a car wreck and everybody is rubbernecking. |

bah. my photo is funny as the h + e + double hockey sticks and i'm sitting around a 6.3
so don't go blaming the funny... funny wins ribbons in challenges like this...
just shoot photos you can be proud of now and grow beyond it for the next challenge...

2.6:1 wow... that _is_ amazingly high for a non-boobies shot, especially considering the score is not exactly in ribbon territory. very odd...
mine's high, though not quite as high (1.6:1) but i like my score much better, thankyouverymuch... ;)
