If they ask to give proof of a photo does the timestamp have to be on it??

The date from the Exif data should show the time the photo was taken.

You need to send in the unaltered original, straight from the camera. Your EXIF data must be intact so they can verify the date.

Does the picture have to be on the camera or can you just give them the orginal one you got form the camera

send them the file that came from your camera.

to be on the safe side, ALWAYS copy your files from your camera to your harddrive. then make a copy of the files you want to edit. that way, you'll always have an ORIGINAL file on your harddrive.

Yeah, you need to ship your entire camera via UPS or Fed-Ex.
