I am not planning to vote on this challenge. But I did take a look at the thumbnails. I found myself thinking, "not another shot like this..." when in actuality, the shot used peas in quite a creative way - it just took an extra moment to realize.
I do not think people are used to voting on images that have such a common visual thread, and maybe that will make a difference in the overall scores.
(Of course the common visual thread is going to be inherent in a challenge like this, and I feel that each photo should be judged on it's own merits... I'm just proposing a theory.) |

I had hoped to do better though. I'm impressed with the general standard though - looking through the thumbs it looks as if a lot of peopel have put the effort in.

I should've known that anything associated with peas would suck. I HATE F.....G peas. I can't believe I even attempted this challenge with my attitude towards peas being so.... so.... hateful of the things. They do have nice flowers though and make a nice decorative vine if you have a trellis to grow them on.
