coming into the fall fair season (in the U.S. anyway) How about things that go on at the Fair. There's a lot more than just the midway.

| Lots of cool people watching in that environment. We don't have our fairs til October though, cause it's SOOOO hot. We don't get cooler weather usually til the end of that month. |

The San Mateo County Fair started yesterday and would be over by the time a challenge began. The Sacramento County Fair is long over unless you mean the California State Fair which also began yesterday. Runs long so you might be able to schedule a challenge for it but I never really considered Sacramento to be the Bay Area. As far as our Bay Area fairs go...
Alameda County Fair is over.
Contra Costa County Fair is over.
Marin County Fair is over.
Napa County Fair is over.
Santa Clara County Fair is over.
Solano County Fair is over
Sonoma County Fair is over.
