I
Hate
You
UPS!!!

Executive 1: "I know, let's let customers track their packages using large garbled numbers!"

Executive 2: "Why of course! People will love that!"

Executive 1: "People will go nuts tracking their stuff!"

Executive 2: "Not to mention I eat kittens!"

Executive 1: "Indeed! Let us go frollic and stomp over the hopes of Harry and his itching desire to play around with his newly ordered flash!"

Executive 2: "Have I told you about the time I invented old people smell, making it torturous to go into retirement homes?"

Executive 1: "hmwa hmwa hmwa! guffah guffah! har har har!"

Executive 2: "Indeed! Let us now join Mr. Pickle-Frog in an orgy to celebrate our aggravation of Mr. Hixon! His flash will sit idly in a warehouse Thirty Minutes Away from his house for THE ENTIRE WEEKEND!"

I have an issue with them too.

Last year, I ordered a lens from a Canadian store (I live in Canada) and had it shipped so that I would receive it by Friday for a wedding on Saturday. So guess what? Right. The lens never showed up by the promised time of 8:00 pm on Friday.

Rep kept telling me that the lens was on the truck, but the driver never showed up. The lens was finally delivered the subsequent Monday afternoon.

So this is what I think of UPS and their guaranteed service

I've never used UPS, but I think the title of this thread should win a special award.

Both FedEx and UPS are within 5 miles of me. I know the feeling.

HEY!!!! I work for FedEx. Just don't confuse FedEx Express with FedEx Ground. Though they're both the same company. Ground couriers are independant, not hourly.

Today I received a special phone call from an automated UPS lady to kindly remind me "your package will arrive... [awkward pause] tomorrow between... [pause] seven [...] A.M. [...] and [...] eight [...] P.M. The courier will require the recipient present to sign off for the package. If you are not present, the courier will leave a notice with options for retreiving your package on a later date. Thank you for using UPS."

Fortunately I was at the shotgun range when the call arrived, and I managed to unload my anger:
