what is there not to believe? two sides are at war with each other. each has their own version of the truth. it's one thing to be on the outside, watching, as you and i are, and to have an already formed opinion (as you seem to). it's another thing altogether different to try to sift through the reported facts to try to determine what is true--and that's the issue here: which 'facts' are true and which are manipulated. |

One thing to keep in mind is that the time stamps used by photo agencies ARE NOT off exif info (the time the shots were taken), but rather the time when the shots were released by the agencies.
I've had conversations and exchanges with a number of photojournalists who were PRESENT and SHOOTING on the scene, and they uncategorically denied any staging on the part of the journalists or the people who were trying to help recover victims.
