Pretty interesting video here. What would have been even better was if she started a bit younger so we could see her change more. Maybe any DPCers with kids could start a similar project and post the results in 3 years :)

Takes the "self-love" concept to a new and interesting format. Thanks for posting this.

It's amazing on how her eyes never moved very much, getting in the exact same position and having her eyes fixed so well would not have been easy. AND in three years she never changed glasses, same frames, a few pics were without glasses. I agree if someone could start doing that with a very young person it would really be cool, the changes would be very contrasting.

And she hasn't smiled once in three years!

My kids are 4 1/2 and 1 1/2. That would be fun to do with them.

She barely changed. I think a guy should do it and let his beard and hair grow.

My kids are 32 and 34. Think they'd mind me sticking a camera in their face every day for the next 3 years??

Yea, I always liked it to, here's the link ;)
Diego Time

funny thing is in my 20s I wanted to do exactly wha that woman did and take a self portrait a day in the same spot w/ same background for a year. I was thinking of making a giant mural though.

Are you sure is for real? Too much of the same position.
Nice try though.
Edit: same eyebrows

It wouldn't be that hard, I'm sure the photos are cropped and lined up at the eye. As long as she made sure she was the same distance from the camera it would be easy to frame. Tie a string to the tripod or something and touch it to your nose before shooting everyday or something. Easy peasy.

I don't have pictures from everyday, but I do have several pictures for each month for my 2 1/2 year old son. The more distant relatives really apprecitate being able to see him grow.

same goes here. we have piles of photos and hours of video but never day to day. distanced relatives do love watching the videos and looking at the photos. grandma lives 9,000 miles away and when we do not keep her updated I get chewed out in two languages.

I started doing this with my daughter when she was just able to stand, but not every day. I now have the chance to do it again with our newborn son! (Born on Wednesday.) Since I'm sure some of you would like to see pics, you can do that here. The blog in my signature also has a couple. Obviously not the best photography technically, but these are in the hospital...
