Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED

I've been in doubt if I wanted to post this, but then I thought: what the heck!

In juli 2005 I stumbled on this great site. I was amazed of the fantastic work on the frontpage, and no hair on my head thought about entering a challenge! I thought you guys would eat me raw! I was totally not secure about my work and didn't want the world to judge the things I made.

Well, the first challenge I entered came, and (skip 3/4 year & 29 challenges) then there was Bits and pieces. What happened there is sitting on the frontpage with a small blue image in front of it ;-)

What I wanted to say to all of you: Thank you. All of you. For getting me into the forums, learning me a lot of new stuff, making new friends, learn some more, and become a better photographer then I used to be. Thank you for letting me be creative and do my own stuff, without being judged (oh well, a little bit of course, but you get the point). Thank you for all of your comments, I'm overwhelmed. I just don't know what to say..

This all might be a bit dramatic, but, ofcourse, this means a lot to me. Like I said before in another thread, this is getting serious. Things are starting to work out, also beyond this fantastic site, in business, and I'm sure a lot of people here are a bit responsible for that.

So: a BIG thanks from me.

And now, you guys are allowed to go offtopic immediately ;-)

Hanneke don't ever doubt that you are a "Rock Star" and very talented. I have learned from you as well. I am happy you won this ribbon as it was about time. Congrats again!

Its well deserved! It was my fav in the challenge, as soon as I saw it I knew it would ribbon. Well done!

Wait, I thought she was a super chicken or muts or something like that. I guess add Rock star to that. I can't keep up with all the nicknames. Congrats Hanneke!

Btw Hanneke, now that we're revealing stuff every time I see your name I think of Heineken. Maybe you should just change names to avoid that confusion? :P

No way is it overdone, I'd be on cloud 9 right now if I made it on the front page, let alone with a little blue next to my photo! You should be very proud of your hard work!
